SHA-256 Password Hashing
File and group passwords are hashed with SHA-256 + salt via the Web Crypto API before being stored in Firestore. The original password is never saved — verification compares hashes only.

Firestore Security Rules
Server-side rules enforce: authenticated reads only, anonymous users blocked from creating content, owners-only deletes, and members-only group chat access — no open database.

Guest Restrictions
Anonymous users can browse and read freely but cannot upload, create groups, send messages, or rate content. This prevents spam while keeping the app accessible without signup.

Atomic Coin Transactions
All coin operations use Firestore runTransaction() to prevent race conditions. Balances can never go negative. Every transaction is logged in coinTransactions with timestamps and reason codes.
